Complete Fantasy

Theme: Venetian Carnival
Duration: 90 minutes

Contestants must present a model in a full fantasy look.

The inspiration should be drawn on the theme ‘Venetian Carnival’, with hair, make-up and costume as per the given theme.

An illusion of face masks should be made with make-up. Face should be completely made-up as per the concept.

Contestants will have to design 3D nail art using extensions and nail embellishments on the chosen movie theme. 3D embellishments, piercings and other decorations are allowed. Contestants can use pre-made 3D nail attachments as long as they are made by the contestant themselves.

Model must be prepped with the nail extensions already attached to the nails before the competition. No other pre-preparation should be done to the nails.

The model will be marked on the complete look: nails, hair, make-up and costume.

Competition

• Nail art must be relevant to the theme given and be in harmony with one another.
• Contestants must use nail art and nail sculpting for this category.
• Contestants must come prepped with the nail extensions already attached to the model’s nails. No other pre-preparation should be done to the nails.
• No nail molds allowed
• All nail art must be made from professional nail products.
• Three dimensional embellishments, feathers, decals, gems, accessories, ornaments or any form of fantasy are allowed.
• Nail piercings with hanging ornaments are also allowed. Contestants will be required to bring their own drills with an extension cord if need be.
• Only 25% of the design should consist of embellishments
• Competitors may not use any copyrighted art, designs or logos.
• Contestants must carry a print out of their concept explaining their interpretation of the theme for the nail art. Failure to do so will lead to a deduction in the points.

Model

• The model must be in costume according to the theme and be prepared for judging at the scheduled report time.
• Models must be able to walk in costume without assistance.
• Model’s costume should not extend beyond the wrist. Please make sure that your costume or look does not overpower the nail art.
• Props may be included as part of the costume, but must be smaller than the model.
• Only the model and competitor are allowed on the competition floor. The costuming,make-up and hair must be assembled before the competition.

Finishing

• Water and soap may be used in finishing.
• No cleaning whatsoever should take place after the competition is over.
• Pre-existing damage to the model’s nails or hands will not be considered
• Products like cream, oils and lotions may be used but excessive oil will lead to point
